If seen it spelled both ways, that is what is confusing. Here is a page that has some pictures:

The Starlight Drive-In was the work of the Minneapolis architectural firm of Liebenberg and Kaplan. The blueprints are in the collection of Liebenberg and Kaplan papers in the Andersen Library at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. The theater is listed in the papers as the Albert Lea Outdoor Theatre, but it appears to have opened as the Starlight Drive-In Theatre.

The Grand Opening ad for the Starlight Drive-In on July 6, 1949 is now in the photo section. The ad’s address says Highway 16 East, which became Highway 46, or today 78259 East Main Street. (Located about a half a mile up the street from the Holiday Inn 77820) According to the Albert Lea Tribune, the Starlight closed in July 1988.
