The Mall Garden opened on Christmas Day of 1974. It was operated by United Amusements. Opening attractions were “The Longest Yard” in auditorium I and “The Trial of Billy Jack' in auditorium II.

The theatre was located behind the Marshall County Mall. Hammonds-Lawler took over the operations of the theatre in 1990. The theatre closed in 2001 for remodeling by never re-opened.

And if they put a gun to my head and drugged me I still wouldn’t pay that price. I wouldn’t buy a car “as is”, no less a building.
