The only information that I have found on the former Gauntier Theater so far is, it closed in the 1950’s and it was converted into a bowling alley.
If you have an additional information on this theater, please post it here.

The Gauntier Theater has gone from listings in the 1950 edition of Film Daily Yearbook.
I haven’t been able to verify this, but I read a story that claims that this theater was named after actress/screen writer Gene Gauntier (real name-Genevieve Liggett).
A Wurlitzer theater organ Opus 619 Style 109 was installed in this theater on 1/31/1923.
The Gauntier Theatre is listed in the 1945 Film Daily Yearbook seating 500. It shows an address of “Minn. Ave.” and it’s also misspelled in the FDY as “Guantier”.
If anyone has any additional informationabout this theater, please let me know: . Thank you, Kelly Brown
LM does claydoh still post on CT, I believe he was from KCK and would know about this theatre.
