The heading here should be updated to “Also known as Pocatello Drive-In.”

Thanks ronp. That clears up the question on the Pocatello DI.

That’s because when Mel Morris assumed management for the 1952 season he renamed it the Sunset Drive-In.

The Pocatello Drive-In is not listed on CT.

There was a third drive-in called the Pocatello Drive-In on Highway 91 with a 250 car capacity.

THE SUNSET DRIVE IN held 250 cars in 1956 and was owned by The Tullis Brothers. THe other Drive in that town was the STAR LITE DRIVE IN and it was much larger holding 538 cars and was owned by T.M.Morris.

..and we must not forget the “Morris Bros.” other Drive-In in the city – the Starlite Drive-In .. where the PineRidge Mall is now located at on the old US-91 highway.

Starlite closed down after the 1979 season for the land to be sold for the development of the new mall.
