Pratt-Mont Drive-In

The Pratt-Mont Drive-In was opened on April 20, 1950 with Jean Simmons in “The Blue Lagoon”. It was operated by G.R. Coburn and Tom Jones. This drive-in was used for flea markets after it closed on April 29, 1990. The entire property was demolished later in 1990 to make way for an expansion of Highway 82.

The Pratt-Mont was built in 1949 and likely launched on April 20, 1950 with a showing of “Blue Lagoon.” It closed April 29, 1990 after its 40th anniversary with “Strike it Rich” and “The Hunt for Red October.” It was torn down within a year of closing.
