A Peloubet theater organ was installed in the Hilltop Theater in 1919.
There are some interesting views of the theater on Google maps. Thanks to Lost Memory for pointing out this feature. There doesn’t seem to be any way to copy and paste the photo, however.
I haven’t found a way to copy and paste Adobe Flash photos. And the print function only prints out the map and not the photo. This is the method that I use to get the largest photo:
Click on the map above.
Click on the small photo.
Locate the building that your looking for.
Click on “Full Screen” above the photo.
You can still rotate and zoom the larger photo.
That’s correct. I did notice that some of the addresses don’t match up. You may have to go up or down the street to find what you’re looking for.
Is the former theater still Schwartz’s grocery store?
Schwartz Market is still listed at this address Ed. Someone in the area would have to confirm it though. BTW….It should be East Warrington Avenue.
