The Rialto Theater first opened around 1915. That theater was destroyed by fire in 1930 and the current theater was built immediately to replace the first theater. This theater remains open today. Some history of the Rialto theater can be found at the link below.

This THEATER is the one where My Father and Mother went on dates, 1946…. My Father watched movies there from the time he was 10 (1930) years old to when they moved down state, Grand Rapids..late..1940’s.. after WW2… When we are up there I like very much to go too the Movies in Grayling.. you think they would run Saturday Matinee and Sunday, run some of the Old movies that maid those days fun for kid’s two movies with a cartoon in between.. only weekends.. Noon till 4;00 or 5:PM well you get the picture…:):)
