This was an early theater in the Kensington section of Brooklyn on Ditmas Avenue. It was located in a building of some substance, appearing much like a bank. The Ditmas Theater is listed in the 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory.
The Ditmas Theatre was closed in 1920.

The year given for this photo is 1912. The Ditmas Theater is the small building on the right.
Shouldn’t there be a NY in the header after Brooklyn?
