Odeon Theatre

Chandler, OK

Unfavorite No one has favorited this theater yet

Purely a utilitarian movie house, the Odeon Theatre had little in the way of adornment. It was opened prior to 1941 when it was operated by the Griffith Amusement Company. It had closed by 1950.

From the Beryl Ford Collection, this 1940’s photograph serves to illustrate that the Odeon exterior was Spartan in decor.

The Odeon Theatre is listed in the 1941 & 1943 editions of Film Daily Yearbook. It has gone from listings by the 1950 edition of F.D.Y.
