This theater closed in 2006.
The name “MACK” comes from the first two and the last two letters of the last name of the couple that founded it: Matty and Bob MAttecheCK.

I think what Roger Katz said on Dec. 19, 2008 is correct, I think the theatre is closed. The phone is no longer in service and none of the info links show any features now showing for the Mack.

Very nice design. Not much frontage to work with, so the designer expressed himself through the verical sign.
Another photo of the Mack can be seen here. As I posted about 3 ½ years ago, the Mack opened on October 18th, 1941. That information should replace the 1942 year given above.
