Opened in 1950, this theater closed in 1996. The box office and lighted "PARK" sign are still there.

Here is the same photo in color. Seat count given on that site is 432. Which one is correct?

I was there a few years back for a special anniversary for the theatre, showing The Misfits. Ill take a good guess and say the seating is approx 400, so the 432 seat count would be correct. Its long and narrow, but I dont think it has 898 seats.

The 1955 Film Daily Yearbook gives the seating as 432.

The auditorium itself was built in the qounset hut style.
