Listed in editions of Film Daily Yearbook from at least 1941 through to 1951 and beyond…the Carolina Theatre in Allendale was a 382 seat theatre.
Since 1983 it has been owned by the University of South Carolina, Salkehatchie campus and is used as an events center named the Civic Arts Center.

This website has a modern photo of the Carolina Theater building.
Here is a July 2008 article about the Carolina renovation. It should be completed by the spring of 2009.
