Located in the north London district of Wood Green, within Shopping City. The Cineworld has no actual street presence. It opened on 11th August 2000 and brought films back to Wood Green for the first time since the closing of the former Gaumont/Odeon in January 1984.

The former Gaumont/Odeon closed as a cinema in January 1984, so Wood Green was without a cinema for just over 16 years! (It was the Bingo operation at the former Gaumont/Odeon which closed in 1996). Jeremy
