The MCL 4D Extreme Screen is situated on the 6th floor of Sky Plaza, Terminal 2 of the Hong Kong International Airport, at Chek Lap Kok on Lantau Island.
It opened in February 2007. Its 358-seat stadium seating auditorium has a 5-storey high super sized screen measuring 64 feet by 44 feet. The cinema is equipped to show 3D films, 4D special effects films, and conventional films in 35mm or 70mm versions. If showing 4D special effects film, the audience can experience different kinds of sensory stimuli synchronized to the drama of the movie unfolding before them. The special effects include snowfall, wind, the spray of water, bubbles, fog, lights and all kinds of smells. The cinema is also equipped with large-scale conference facilities.
The MCL 4D Extreme Screen was closed on 1st March 2012. It was re-opened on 5th July 2012 as the UA IMAX Theatre @ Airport. It wass closed on 30th September 2019.

The theatre closed on 1st March, 2012.
The UA IMAX Theatre @ Airport opened on 5th July, 2012 at the site of the former MCL 4D Extreme Screen.
The theatre closed on 30th September, 2019.
