Staats Building

The Strand Theater was designed by architect John Norman, Sr. and was constructed in 1922. After use as a theater, the building was converted to a hospital, which closed in the early-1980’s. The building was slated for demolition, but still stands as of 2014.

This building is not demolished, it’s still standing. It was slated for demolition but is now likely to be preserved or at least mothballed.
