A Robert-Morton theater organ size 2/4 was installed in the Stratford Theater in 1920. That organ was replaced with a Wurlitzer theater organ opus 1237 style E X on 12/26/1925.

The March 23, 1918, issue of The Moving Picture World said that the Stratford Theatre in Poughkeepsie had opened on January 21. The 1500-seat house had been designed by New York architect W. H.McElfatrick, and had cost $100,000.
