This theater is erronelously positioned on the street map in El Cerro, it was located on 23 Street between O and P in Vedado.

jrpollo, Right about the name. It had a second entrance from the “Wakamba” restaurant on O Street. I remember seeing quite a few European movies there, Giulietta Masina in “La Strada” and “Nights of Cabiria”, Ingmar Bergman’s “Through a Glass Darkly”, “Winter Light” and “The Silence”, Federico Fellini and Vittorio De Sica films, Gina Lollobrigida in “Pane, amore e fantasia” and “Pane, amore e gelosia”, Brigitte Bardot movies.

Hi, does anyone out there know what the name of the cinema Errol Flynn co-owned in Havana was?

The theatre was not named for its architectural features. La Rampa (the ramp) is the popular name for the sloping stretch of 23rd Street between L street and Malecón, where the theatre is located.

Havana Journal, The architectural preservation and future of design in Havana Cuba. La Rampa Cinema: 1955. Architect Gustavo Botet. Named originally for its internal ramp system, this building has been converted to a complex with offices, a cafe, bar and cinema.
