The Fan Ling Theatre is the remaining 1950s-era theatre in business in Hong Kong. It is situated in Luen Wo Hui, a small town in the New Territories of Hong Kong. It opened to business on 11th September 1959 with a 828-seat auditorium on the ground floor of the theatre building.

As a practice of the neighbourhood cinemas in the New Territories, it advertised its programmes in its early days by posters on notice-boards. The theatre has been bisected into two auditoriums, one with 361 seats and the other with 360.

This is a 1990 Supreme Court of Hong Kong document about the Fan Ling Theater. I could only link to a cached version.
