This theater was opened circa 1929 and operated by a Paramount affiliate until 1935 when Fox Midwest Theaters took over. It is not known if it was open continuously during the period 1931-1935.
From 1940, Fox Intermountain is listed as the operator until closing in 1964. After 1964 it may have been open for a short time as an independent but this is not confirmed.

A Barton theater organ size 3/10 was installed in the Paramount Theater in North Platte, NE in 1930.
From North Platte a photo of the Paramount Theater Building taken August 2010 which seems to indicate that it is closed but has not been demolished.
