I’ve been in this store. I never connected it with being a theater, despite the marquee. Live and learn.

The San Diego Reader has compiled all its articles about former Casiono operators Walnut Properties onto one webpage, along with around 100 graphics and photos that never appeared in ANY of the published versions. Also included is a Pussycat Theatre mini-history, updates on various Walnut-related lawsuits, etc, as well as a bunch of vintage Casino newspaper ads.

A Robert-Morton theater organ size 2/4 was installed in the Casino Theater in 1924.
