460 would be closer. The jewelry store next to the old theater is listed as 464 Aultman. The Street View shows a Fantasy Fast Photo in the old theater building, but phone listing a Fantasy location, but on 11th St.

The timeline given on Wikipedia is pretty close to the timeline given for the Ely Theater. The Fantasy Fast Photo might have moved to 11th Street. The address above still needs to be changed to Aultman Street.
LM, you are correct this opened as the Capitol Theatre in 1916 of which Percy Hull was the Arcitect who worked for the Fleming Co.and architectual firm. When I researched Flem & Co. Architects I got the same information as is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The address given was 460 Altman St. not Avenue. So as you said this was the Capitol when it opened in 1916.
I doubt that the address is 484. PhonePages for Ely, Nevada shows the Fantasy Fast Photo at 466 Aultman Street. If this building is being renovated, Fantasy Fast Photo probably had to move. The address is either 460 or 466. Maybe we should flip a coin for this one. LOL
This is the Capital Theater. The correct address is 466 Aultman St. Currently, Legacy Realty is renting the lobby space.
The Ely Theater can be seen in this circa 1951 photo.

I worked at this theater as a teen in the late 50’s and early 60’s. It was a great old theater then. The management insisted that theater be spelled theatre on all forms and reports. I would love to get into the back and see it again. There is so much behind what is used that is very interesting.
