The Golden Palace Theatre was situated in the Shek Tong Tsui district on the Hong Kong Island.

It opened to business on 9th February 1994 as a theatre showing first-run Cantonese films. A few years later, it began showing adult films until its closure on 1st November, 2004.

The lobby and the purpose-built 200-seat auditorium was on the ground floor of a residential building. As the building was built on a slope, the restrooms of the theatre were on the floor below the screen.
