Opened in 1950, with a seating capacity of 250. The Cove Theater has clean simple lines with the traditional marquee sheltering an outside ticket box with entrances on both sides. It was a light colored building trimmed in red wine color tile and “Cove” is spelled out vertically, the height of the building with attached lettering on the left side of the building.
It was closed for a while, but has since re-opened and is a family operated independent movie theatre. It has waiters and waitreses in costumes, and after a recent renovation, has stadium style seating installed. It was closed around 2009, and became a church.
