The UA Cityplaza Cinema is situated in Taikoo Shing, a private middle class housing estate on Hong Kong Island. It is on the 5th floor of City Plaza.
The cinema shows first run Chinese dialect and English language films since its opening on 14th June 1996 when it had 1,215 seats. It has seven DTS sound system auditoriums.
Among the seven auditoriums, two are special designed ‘Directors Club’ luxury ones with sixteen seats each, and are named Chaplin & Hitchcock. It was closed 23rd February 2017. Following renovations, it was re-opened December 29, 2017 as Movie Movie Cityplaza.

The theatre closed on 23rd February, 2017.
After extensive renovation, the theatre re-opened on 29th December, 2019 as the 7-house 1019-seat Movie Movie Cityplaza. Among the seven houses,four houses are equipped with USL 8 channels sound system, two with Dolby Atmos sound system and one with AuroMax 3D system.
