Opened in 1910 as the King George Theatre, it became the Alhambra Theatre in 1920. Renamed the Baronet Theatre in 1969, it became the Eve Theatre in 1972 and ended its days, as a porno theatre, in 1986.
A Swiss Chalet restaurant occupied the site, but this has been replaced by an office building.
