The Telenews can be seen on the left in this circa-1942 postcard view of Third Avenue.

This opened as Capitol on November 11th, 1924 and reopened as Telenews on September 19th, 1941. Sterling owned it during the Telenews years. Both grand opening ads posted here.

The Capitol Theatre originally had a 2/11 Kimball theatre organ installed in 1924.
