The former Neely Theater opened on September 25, 1946. It is now a performing arts center, music store and a recording studio.

its not a coincidence i share the name of this theater my dads family owned it.I feel Very Proud to say that I share the name of this building. My dad (Lester Neely) has told me many a stories of him running the Theater with his Brother. Im glad its still standing and hope it will for many more years.

S_Neely … I think I went to school with your Dad, Lester Neely. Did his father also own the theatre in Marion, Alabama?
