Built in an Art Deco inspired style by Gerald Parkes, proprietor of the Playhouse, Louth. The 9-screen Meridian Parkway Cinema opened on 4th November 2004 and is operated by the independent Parkway Entertainment Company Ltd. It is situated on a sea front site, near the Greenwich Meridian Line. One of the auditoriums has 300 seats and is equipped with facilities for live theatre. The cinema also has a cafe and licenced bar.
