Located in the Wavertree district of Liverpool, this opened as the 8-screen MGM on 30th September 1991, and it was a project of Cineplex Odeon. Later renamed Virgin in 1995, then UGC in 1999 it became Cineworld in 2005.

Seating capacities in the screens range from 356, down to 198.
