This theatre had many owners in its 36 year history. Originally a twin cinema opened by Cinema National on December 25, 1971 with Clint Eastwood in “Dirty Harry” & Sean Connery in “Diamonds are Forever”. In 1987 it was taken over by USA Cinemas and a year later by Loews. It was turned into an eight-plex and sold in the early-1990’s to Sunstar Theatres who closed it in 2007.

The twin was turned into a quad. Four more theatres were added across the hall. Each quad had a seperate ticket booth and concession stand.

It was once known as Lockport Cinema 4. In 1993, the theater was taken over by an independent chain known as WNY Theatres (who also operated three other theaters in the Buffalo area) after a five-year run as a Loews theater. The theater would then double the amount of screens and became the Lockport Cinema 8 in June 1994.

The theater closed on January 21, 2007.
