Opened in 1972 as part of the wholesome Jerry Lewis Cinemas franchise, the Miller Road soon started playing subrun features of all types. It briefly experimented with Spanish language films in 1974 as the America Theatre, then settled into many years as a porn house.

It disappeared from the Miami Herald movie pages in 1988 and closed soon after.
