The Golden Palace Theatre was situated in Tai Po in the New Territories of Hong Kong.

It opened to business on 4th May 1957, and showed selected films until it closed at an unknown date in the late-1960’s.

Its 814-seat auditorium was on the ground floor of the theatre building.

The first film shown on the opening day was “Alexander the Great” (MGM 1956) starring Richard Burton and Claire Bloom.

Its Chinese name is é‡'都戲院.
