The Buflo Theatre was one of two indoor movie theatres located in Buffalo during the 1950’s. In 1953, it was purchased by Howard Patterson and Lonny and Evelyn Pitts from John White of Camdenton. I believe it was located on the Court Square.

The 1951 Film Daily Yearbook lists a Nubuflo Theatre in Buffalo, MO. No address given. Seating was 525.
In 1945 the name is also Nubuflo Theatre. Maybe the “Nu” was dropped at a latter date.
From Boxoffice magazine, January 1946:
BUFFALO, MO.-Claude White and his son John have acquired the Nu-Buflo Theater here from C.C. Rhodes. The Whites also operate a theater in Camdenton, MO.
I think the name should be Nu-Buflo or at least put Nu-Buflo as an aka name.
There is a 325 seat Buffalo Theater listed in the 1940 Film Daily for Buffalo, MO. No address given. In 1955 the 525 seat Nu-Buflo Theater is listed. When was it called “Buflo”?
