The 10-screen AMC opened on 4th November 1988. In December 1988, it was taken over by United Cinemas International(UCI) and re-branded UCI. In October 2004 Terra Firma Investments took control and they eventualy became Odeon Theatres, with the cinema being re-branded Odeon.

Seating capacities in the screens range from 278, down to 189. In the Spring of 2007, the Odeon underwent a total refurbishment.
