As a movie theater, the State had 850 seats.

You need something current that shows that movies are still being shown here. I don’t know if this theater has a website, I haven’t found one so far.

The State was open in 1930, operated by Affiliated Theatres, later by Theatre Services and finally Gulf States Theatres, as LM said seating was liste4d at 850. The State closed in 1975. I can’t find anything stating that it is currently showing movies.
