The Scenic Drive-In was one of three drive ins in Newport during the 1970’s. It was located on Highway 25 West, on the left side of the highway if you were driving towards Newport. I don’t know exact address, but it was adjacent to the Woodzo Drive-In (1030 West Highway 25).

I think the Woodzo Drive-In was on the left, and the Scenic Drive-In on the right if you were looking at their driveways, which were also almost adjacent, but I’m not positive about that. I’m fairly sure the Scenic Drive-In closed many years before the Woodzo Drive-In, which lasted at least into the 1990’s.

During its final years of operation in the 1980’s, the Scenic Drive-In was renamed Newport Drive-In (not to be confused with the towns' original Newport Drive-In).

Approx. address or this drive-in was 1036 W Hwy 25 70.
