Located in Pass Christian, near West Long Beach. The Moonlite Drive-In opened on November 8, 1950 with Diana Lyn in “Peggy”. and was independently owned and was operated until the late-1960’s. It staggered its pictures so it had a new picture each night on its double feature and charged $1.00 per carload.

In 1968, the family sold the drive-in to Gulf States Theatres. It was closed on August 16, 1969 with Alvy Moore in “The Witchmaker” & Cameron Mitchell in “Blood and Black Lace”. destroyed on August 17, 1969 by Hurricane Camille. The picture that was to have played that night was “Gone With The Wind”. Gulf States Theatres announced a twin screen drive-in theatre for the old Moonlite location, but did not build it.
