Located in the capitol town (said to be the smallest ‘capitol’ in the world), on the island of Streymoy, one of the North European group of islands off the coast of Norway. The building also contains the Rex nightclub and the Eclipse nightclub.

The Havnar or Harbour cinema, was opened from c. 1948. Films were provided by Danish film distributors and had Danish subtitles. This cinema became the Havnar Klubbi
