Located in downtown Las Vegas, across the street from the main entrance of the Golden Nuggett Hotel & Casino. The Western Theatre probably opened in the mid-1940’s and is listed in the 1950 edition of Film Daily Yearbook.

In 2009, the building on the site houses ‘The Canyon’, a concert venue/ special events/nightclub.

The Western is listed in 1945 with 250 seats. Not listed in 1955.
