Urania Kino

This Classical style building was originally built in 1897 as a school for adult education. It is located beside the Danube canal.

The Urania Kino moved into the building in 1910. Today it is one of the locations for the Viennale, Vienna’s International Film Festival. The Urania Kino is a member of Europa Cinemas group.

The building also contains a planetarium.
