The Chenal 9 + IMAX opened on June 6, 2008. One of the regular screens is equipped for 3D Digital. The IMAX screen is also 3D equipped.

This is Dickinson’s second IMAX construction, and the companies first venture into Arkansas. The company also acquired the Lakewood 8, shortly after this theater opened.

Does anyone know why the sign on the front of the building was changed. From pictures I have seen of this theater it originally had an upright sign and then was changed to a flat sign on the front. It seems that the upright was not there that long. Just curious! Thanks!
