A few June 2011 photos can be seen here, here and here.
This page of the City of Milwaukie’s web site mentions the Victory Theatre, and says it was built in 1945.
I used to work at this theater. The 2 small auditoriums were added in 1983. They are located where the old parking lot used to be. The original name was the Victory. It was changed in the early 70’s to the Cinema V. (V=5). When the 2 new screens were added the name was changed to the Milwaukie Tri-Cinema.
1985 photo of the Victory Theatre.

There is something wrong with that site. Hopefully it’s only temporary. This is a cached version of that site:

Maybe it’s past the links bedtime. Good thing that I copied and pasted the text. There was also a photo of the Milwaukie 3 Cinemas. It appears that this was the Victory Theater.
LM, I got a oops this link appears to be broken.
Scroll down to #13 on this page. “The Milwaukie Cinema was built in the 1940s as the Victory Theater. Its address is on Main Street but it fronts on Jefferson Street. It is currently owned and operated by Electric Castles Wunderland.”
This theatre originally openeed sometime in the 40’s as the Victory Theatre as a single screen with a balcony. Couldn’t find when it was triplexed. I believe I saw seating listed at 500, but that could have been before the conversion.
