Located in Urbandale, close to Des Moines, the Cobblestone 9 is operated by Carmike Cinemas. I could not find the time line on when it opened. It features digital projection and sound in each auditorium. The usual amenities that Carmike offers.

Area graded/developed 1988, nine-plex built 1994.

I think the building was originally a Food4Less grocery store before being converted to theatre space. Does anybody have any info on that? For the record, 8501 Hickman Road is actually in the City of Urbandale, which is not a district of Des Moines, but a separate city right next to Des Moines.

City should be changed to Urbandale.

wonder how it looks now, never been in a clean carmike theatre in three states.
