Novo Theatre

This theater was in operation from December 1937, until at least 1956.

It was renovated and re-opened by a church group on around 2004.

Was originally part of the Schine Circuit, follow by Darnell Theatres and finally Elmart Theatres.

I think it’s the Novo Theater, not Nova.

Ken, I think your right, I just looked at the Marquee and it does say Novo. Maybe Ken will correct it in the header.

Theatre opened 1938 and the architects were John and Drew Eberson.

Sorry theatre opened 25 December 1937.

Looks like a nice restoration, but unfortunately they did away with the old art deco marquee.
