This theatre opened as the Star Theatre and had become the Iowa Theatre by 1941, thought to at least 1950.
It is now the Capri Theatre and located just west of the City Square. The original theatre has been completely renovated into a modern up to date theatre. It is community owned and operated by a group of volunteers. They run movies shorty after their initial release at family affordable prices. Their web site has some really nice photos of the theatre.

One More from the same year, different angle. I’d say it must have been around Christmas Time.

My grandparents only live about 20 miles away from this theater but I haven’t found time to actually go in but I have driven by. I saw Aladdin there and I recall the theater being quite nice on the inside with beautiful red curtains.
