This was a miner’s welfare association cinema, institute and dance hall. It was opened around 1900 and closed around 1965.

The building still stands intact in 2009, and the projectors are still position in the operating box.

If the the information at this link is about the same cinema listed here, seating was 700.

The link above relates to the Memo in Newbridge and is unrelated to the Memorial Hall in Caerphilly.
