The Shelmar Theatre opened as a regular movie theatre prior to 1941 and continued into the 1950’s. It later became a burlesque house.

The building today is a restaurant called Toast On Market. Any further information on the Shelmar Theatre would be appreciated.

The Shelmar was owned by Midwest Theatre Co.
