The Grand Theater was opened by 1926. By the early-1940’s it was operated by Paramount Pictures Inc. through their subsidiary Julius Gordon. The Grand Theater was still operating in the 1980’s. After closing the building was used as a church known as the Believers Christian Center.
It was purchased by Tammy Steinmann on November 22, 2015 and after refurbishment it had a ‘soft’ opening on the first weekend in September 2016. It reopened as a movie theatre on November 22, 2016. By 2019 a second screen had been added.
