The Grand Theater was opened by 1926. By the early-1940’s it was operated by Paramount Pictures Inc. through their subsidiary Julius Gordon. By 1950 it was operated by Cole Theaters Inc. The Grand Theater was still operating in the 1980’s. After closing the building was used as a church known as the Believers Christian Center.

It was purchased by Tammy Steinmann on November 22, 2015 and after refurbishment it had a ‘soft’ opening on the first weekend in September 2016. It reopened as a movie theatre on November 22, 2016. By 2019 a second screen had been added.
