The Maryland Theater was opened on November 21, 1907, with a seating capacity for 1,800. It was renamed Burke Theatre in March 7, 1932 presenting vaudeville and movies. By 1934 it had reverted back to its Maryland Theatre name. It had closed by 1936. By 1938 it had reopened as the Maryland Theatre. It closed October 9, 1963. It was razed in December 1966.
