I’ve update my July 22 2009 map link above to show the difference between 1930’s and today. Lots of streets are no longer around due to “progress” Green dot on the upper half shows where the theater would have been.

Nice map. I looked at a satellite view of this area on bing using this address: 2322 E 22nd St Cleveland, OH 44104 which is the address of the medical center shown on Google maps. That address will bring you close to the former theater location. There are alot of parking lots but no old buildings where 25th Street used to be. I’d say that this theater was demolished.

Looks like Scovill was renamed, and 23-29th St’s wiped out according to a 1944 Cleveland maps.

25th St. still exists about 1 mile NW, at Grand Army of the Republic Hwy near exit 173C of I-90.

The street probably was renamed at some point or some streets were eliminated because Scovill Avenue doesn’t intersect with 25th Street. In fact, I don’t see a 25th Street on the map. The building might be gone.

Must have done some renumbering, or renaming. There is no 2500 block of Scovill any longer. Looks like Community College Ave rerouted and renamed at some point.
